Inquiry: How can I help students write well structured paragraphs?
My hope was to track the progress across the curriculum- the transfer is a key piece for my students- I was not able to track outside of the writing they did in my class.
- We had an anchor chart in the classroom which we created together.
- They also had a picture model- hamburger paragraph and the written model which they kept in their notebooks and were asked to use when they wrote paragraphs.
- We also used the anchor from Ontario Secondary THINK LITERACY re: how to develop content in written work.
